Solid Oak

Our solid oak floorboards are created from highly regarded European oak to ensure great value for money through quality and natural beauty. Our European solid oak floorboards are available in lengths up to 5m. We supply both unfinished & with a variety of finishes.

There is nothing quite like solid wood floors in a house or office space. Solid Oak Floorboards in particular are warm and beautiful and lend a touch of class and luxury to any space. These floors are hard wearing, comfortable underfoot and complement almost any decor. It is strongly recommended that these floors are installed by an experienced professional due to the specific nature of solid oak flooring.

Solid Oak Floorboards are available in a variety of colours and finishes. They could also be delivered unfinished and are available in lengths of up to five metres. American oak is lighter in colour than traditional European oak. Solid Oak Floor Boards could be brushed and black oiled to give them an appearance similar to mahogany, or smoked, brushed and grey oiled for a beautiful silver grey finish. Most are treated with natural oil.

These floor boards are available in a variety of widths, such as 280mm super wide, 380mm wide giant oak and random width European oak, which gives the floor a traditional patterned look. Antique aged oak is also available; it is usually reclaimed from previous use as floor boards or made to order using ‘new oak’ by our experts in antique & reclaimed materials. Reclaimed timber can have slight imperfections and marks due to usage, which makes these floorboards truly unique.

Engineered oak is also available; only the top layer is made of true solid oak. It gives the appearance of solid oak, but is more practical for modern day homes where solid oak is not appropriate for use. This type of flooring is more suitable to under floor heating, which is not the case with solid oak.
